WoodWatch is an exciting new campaign to enable and empower local communities like yours to take effective action and save ancient woods in your neighbourhood.

Check out the resources and information we have to help you identify and fight threats to ancient woods. This site will continue to evolve over the next year to give you more information about how to fight the threats.

There are 3 things for you to do now:

1. Enjoy your woods
Woods are good for you. Visit when you can; whether it’s with family or friends and a picnic hamper, or just you and the dog. Find out where your local ancient wood is on our map.

2. Watch out for threats
Irreplaceable ancient woods and ancient trees are under threat from development across the whole of the UK. Tell us about any threats to an ancient wood or tree and take action yourself  to stop the destruction. Here you can find information, case studies and resources to help you fight threats near you.
