Welcome to the Woods for People website. This website gives information about a partnership between the Woodland Trust, Forestry Commission and the Environment & Heritage Service (Northern Ireland) to create
and mainatain a UK-wide 'provisional' inventory of accessible woodland.
It also gives information on the major Woodland Trust publication,
Space for People, which has used the accessible woodland data from the
Woods for People project to develop targets for increasing woodland access.
