The WTPL
contains over 25,000 woodland images, which are used to promote and
publicise our work.
Most of these images have been taken in Woodland Trust woods
located throughout the UK and are used in a variety of ways by the
Woodland Trust. This could be in our leaflets, publications and web
site or through providing images to the media,
corporate partners or third party organisations working with the
Woodland Trust.
To view a flavour of images taken at Woodland Trust sites why not
visit our online directory?
The WTPL also
sells a selected number of its woodland images on a commercial basis
through its online picture library
www.woodlandpictures.com.
All image sales help to support our work at the Woodland Trust.
The WTPL has acquired images over many years and from a variety of
sources. Many of the first images were provided by its founder, Kenneth
Watkins, who was a keen nature & wildlife photographer. Further images
have been added by Woodland Trust staff as a means of documenting
woodland development and management.

The Woodland Trust
runs a successful
Volunteer Photographers Scheme, so if you are a keen
photographer and would like to help the Woodland Trust, then this could
be for you. |
The
Woodland Trust also works with a small number of professional
photographers, through commissions, purchase and the sale of
images. |
