We’ve teamed up with a number of companies to make it easier for you to reduce, re-use and recycle. The following handy tips will benefit the environment and help us raise funds for vital woodland conservation.
 

Reduce
  • WHSmith are running a carrier bag reduction scheme which aims to fund the planting of 10,000 trees by the end of 2008.
  • BT will purchase an oak sapling for every new customer who signs up to receive paper-free billing
  • etree – a sapling will be provided for Tree For All every time a shareholder of participating companies signs up to receive ecommunications

Re-use
Visit GreenMetropolis.com to sell or buy second hand books.

  • Sell your dust gathering old books and donate proceeds from your sales.
  • Buy used books with GreenMetropolis and they will donate 5p to help us plant trees

Recycle
Mobile phones

  • Greener Solutions will donate £2.50 to the Trust for your old mobile, regardless of its age or condition.
  • Order your freepost envelope by calling 020 8274 4040 or email wt@greenersolutions.com quoting reference Woodland Trust.

Inkjet cartridges

  • Ink Again will donate £1.00 for every recyclable inkjet cartridge they receive in a freepost Woodland Trust envelope.
  • Order your envelope by phoning 0800 43 55 76 and quoting “Woodland Trust bag" OR email woodlandtrustbags@inkagain.co.uk

Christmas cards

  • Recycle used Christmas cards during January by taking them to your nearest WHSmith, Tesco or TK Maxx store.
