Thanks for everyone who sponsored the Penguin walkers. Early reports suggest that over 350 Penguin staff raised over £25,000 for Trees for Schools.

In association with the Woodland Trust, the famous publishing company Penguin are creating a new wood in the National Forest. Penguin Wood, at Botany Bay, ten miles south of Burton-on-Trent, will see an exciting experiment in woodland creation.

Large scale projects of this kind need people from many different backgrounds to collaborate, and here are some of them after planting the first Penguin Tree:
