Woodland Trust Inkjet Recycling Programme
Help us turn your old inkjet cartridges into new trees!
Did you know that of the 60 million inkjet cartridges used each year in
the UK, only about 10% are recycled? This means that 54 million
cartridges get thrown away each year and end up in landfill sites or are
incinerated. Inkjet cartridges will take about 1,000 years to decompose
in landfill sites so recycling and remanufacturing them is by far the
best way to protect our environment.

With this in mind, the Woodland Trust has joined forces with
Environmental Business Products Ltd (EBP), one of the worlds
leading suppliers of remanufactured inkjet and compatible inkjet
cartridges. Using your unique Woodland Trust envelope, you can send your
used inkjet cartridges freepost directly to EBP for recycling, and
the Woodland Trust will receive £1 per recyclable inkjet cartridge.
The income raised will help us with our UK-wide tree-planting
programmes.
Which inkjet cartridges can I send?
Cartridges that work in your Hewlett Packard and Lexmark printer. We also recycle Canon BC02/05/20/BX2/BX3 cartridges. Please note we cannot accept Epson cartridges. The envelope will hold up to 4 cartridges, or 6 if your have a smaller make.
