The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity. In over 30 years we have grown from a tiny organisation into one that now manages over 1000 woods and has planted over 5 million trees.

In 1996 The Woodland Trust Scotland acquired this vast, beautiful and mysterious property with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund.

As new "Keepers of the Forest", we and our supporters are restoring the ancient woodlands and re-establishing a balance between people and wild lands. And we are making this a place for the people. As a 'Glen for All Seasons', it provides year round access and enjoyment for thousands of visitors.
