Restoring Glen Finglas is a task that will take many decades. As part of Scotland's first national park and a place where the Kings of Scotland hunted this is a truly unique woodland project.

Our vision is to protect and restore this ancient landscape for future generations. As more and more people visit Glen Finglas they are already witnessing vital changes. Yet there is much more to do.

Over the millennia people shaped this landscape. People are now restoring it.

The Woodland Trust is committed to ensuring the future of Glen Finglas by doing the following :

• Planting 1/2 million trees  • Managing ancient woodlands
• Removing non-native conifers  • Making a place for everyone - building trails etc.
• Investing £5 million +
  • Managing grazing by deer, sheep and cattle at a  sustainable level.

The Woodland Trust has over 130,000 members, but as we save more woods we need even more supporters. On average for every new member paying just £2.75 per month we can protect and care for half an acre of native woodland.

Please join us because together we really can make a difference. Join the Woodland Trust and you'll receive a FREE tree dedicated in your name.
