Annual Review 2007
View our 2007
Annual Review to find out:
- How many trees we planted
and how much more land is now safe in our care
- Why nearly 3,000 people
joined us to hug ancient trees
- What we did to draw
attention to our threatened woods more boldly than ever
before
- How we strove to help
ancient woods face up to the increased challenges brought
about by climate change
- How we came to acquire one
of England’s biggest and most beautiful ancient woods
As the Annual Review shows,
we are making a real difference to the UK’s native woods.
Looking forward, 2008 promises to be an exciting if
challenging year. We are currently working
hard to acquire more than 400 hectares (1000 acres) of land
in the South East, in order to create the largest new
broadleaved forest in England.
