The Woodland Trust has expressed concern at Lord Rooker’s announcement that there will be no change to the temporary use classes provisions. These allow activities such as paintballing and off-road rallying to take place in valuable habitats without planning permission for 14 or 28 days a year.
If you know of any wood pasture or parkland sites which are being damaged by temporary use classes then please let us know. Many wood pastures and parklands are not on the Ancient Woodland Inventory and often overlooked as important sites.
